NEXRIDE integrates with third-party payment and funding providers. NEXRIDE is not a bank, payment processor or card issuer.
Taxi credit card processing — connected, not replaced.
You don't have to replace your merchant account: NEXRIDE can connect the one you have. Card acceptance runs through your payment processor or merchant-services provider; NEXRIDE connects each payment to the ride, applies your split and sends the funding instructions — so payments stop living in a separate system.
If you're a payment provider serving transportation merchants, see payment partners.

Three ways to work with NEXRIDE
However you want to handle payments, there's a way to work with NEXRIDE that fits.
Keep your processor
Already have a merchant account you're happy with? NEXRIDE connects it to your branded app or your owner dashboard.
App with payments built in
Your own passenger and driver app, with card payments already set up through NEXRIDE's merchant partner. One setup, one provider.
Payments only
No app needed. Card terminals for each driver, the owner's and driver's shares paid out as each ride ends, and one dashboard for reporting.

How payments work on NEXRIDE — and who does what.
What is a taxi payment system?
A taxi payment system handles how passengers pay and how that money reaches the company and the driver: card payments in the app or on a terminal, cash, tips, receipts and the split between owner and driver. NEXRIDE ties all of it to each ride.
Does NEXRIDE process credit cards?
No. Card acceptance runs through your payment processor or merchant-services provider; NEXRIDE integrates with supported providers and connects each payment to the ride, the split and the driver's funding. NEXRIDE integrates with third-party payment and funding providers and is not a bank, payment processor or card issuer.
Can passengers save a card in our app?
Yes. Passengers can save a card in your branded app; card details are tokenized through the payment provider and used for future rides.
Do you support in-vehicle card terminals?
Yes. Payments taken on in-vehicle terminals are matched to the right driver and funded through the same workflow as app payments, with a full audit log.
How are cash rides handled?
Drivers mark rides as cash. The company's share is added to the driver's balance, which drivers can pay by card; a limit you set takes drivers offline until they settle.
Do passengers get receipts?
Yes. Passengers receive an itemized email receipt — fare, booking and airport fees, tolls, waiting time and tip — in your brand. Drivers and your office get copies too.
How do drivers get paid?
The moment a card ride ends, NEXRIDE splits the fare using your rules and funds both the owner and the driver in real time — to a paycard or the driver's own bank account. Cash rides are paid in hand. NEXRIDE integrates with third-party payment and funding providers and is not a bank, payment processor or card issuer.
