NEXRIDE / Real-time driver funding

Real-time owner & driver funding

The ride ends. Everyone's funded.

Real-time owner and driver funding on every card ride: the moment the ride ends, NEXRIDE splits the fare using your rules and funds both shares — to paycards or bank accounts. No batches. No end-of-week settlement. No spreadsheets.

Built for real fleet operations.

Funding that holds up when rides, payments and drivers number in the hundreds.

Split rules by ride type

Different owner and driver shares for city, to-airport and from-airport rides.

Status tracking & retries

Every funding attempt has a status; failures are retried automatically.

Duplicate protection

Each ride is funded once — even if a request is repeated.

Card, cash & terminals

App payments, in-vehicle terminals and cash balances on one record.

Paycard or bank account

Drivers choose where they're paid; bank payouts to eligible accounts.

Why real-time funding matters.

For drivers, getting paid when the ride ends — not days later — changes how they feel about the company they drive for. Their earnings show in the app by day, week and month, and the money follows the ride.

For owners, there's no weekly settlement run: no matching card statements to trip sheets, no spreadsheet of who is owed what. The split is applied by the platform and every payout has a status — alongside driver balances and statements in taxi fleet management.

For payment partners, funding turns card acceptance into part of how the merchant runs every ride. See payment partners.

NEXRIDE integrates with third-party payment and funding providers and is not a bank, payment processor or card issuer.

Three ways to work with NEXRIDE.

However you want payments set up, real-time funding works the same way underneath.

Keep your processor

Already have a merchant account you're happy with? NEXRIDE connects it to your branded app or your owner dashboard.

App with payments built in

Your own passenger and driver app, with card payments already set up through NEXRIDE's merchant partner. One setup, one provider.

Payments only

No app needed. Card terminals for each driver, the owner's and driver's shares paid out as each ride ends, and one dashboard for reporting.

See which option fits, and whether you qualify for lower card fees.

Real-time driver funding questions

How funding works, what it covers and what it doesn't.

What is real-time driver funding?

Real-time driver funding means the driver's share of a card fare is sent the moment the ride ends — not in a weekly or daily settlement run. With NEXRIDE, the owner's share is funded at the same time, so both sides of the split are settled on every card ride.

Is NEXRIDE a bank or payment processor?

No. NEXRIDE integrates with third-party payment and funding providers and is not a bank, payment processor or card issuer. NEXRIDE connects the ride, the payment and the funding instructions so they happen together.

How is the fare split?

You set the split rules — for example by ride type, such as city rides, rides to the airport and rides from the airport. NEXRIDE applies them to the final, itemized fare of each ride.

Where do drivers receive their funds?

Drivers are paid to a paycard or to their own bank account. Bank payouts are available to eligible accounts.

What about cash rides?

On cash rides the driver already holds the fare, so there's nothing to fund. The company's share is added to the driver's balance, which drivers can settle by card; a limit you set takes drivers offline until they do.

Does it work with in-vehicle card terminals?

Yes. Card payments taken on in-vehicle terminals are matched to the right driver and funded automatically through the same workflow, with a full audit log.

What happens if a funding attempt fails?

Every funding attempt has a tracked status. Failed attempts are retried automatically, duplicates are prevented, and the status of each payout is visible per ride in the dashboard.

Watch a ride end and both shares get funded.

Pick a time that suits you. We'll complete a card ride and show the fare split and the owner's and driver's funding records appear in real time.
