This policy explains how NEXRIDE ("NEXRIDE", "we", "us") collects and uses personal information when you visit nexride.us (the "Site"), request a demo or book a meeting with us. It does not cover the NEXRIDE apps or platform as deployed by our customers; those are covered by separate agreements and each customer's own privacy notice.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Demo request form: your name, company, email address, phone number (optional), business type, number of vehicles and any message you write.
- Meeting booking: when you book a demo through our scheduling tool (Calendly), you provide your name, email address, the time you choose and any answers to booking questions.
Information collected automatically
- Server and security data: like most websites, our hosting server records technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. To protect our forms from spam, we keep a one-way coded (hashed) version of the IP address used to submit a form for a short period (about an hour).
- Browser storage: when you submit the demo form, the Site stores the time of your submission in your browser's local storage to prevent repeated submissions. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site — for example, which pages are visited, how visitors arrived, whether videos are played and whether a demo is requested or booked. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects device, browser, approximate location and usage information; it does not receive what you type into our forms. You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings or with Google's opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).
Third-party services on the Site
- Calendly provides our demo scheduler. It loads when you open the booking calendar and may set its own cookies. Information you enter is processed by Calendly under its privacy policy.
- Email delivery and storage: demo requests are sent to our team by email from our own mail server, and a backup copy is stored securely on our hosting server, outside the public website.
How we use your information
- To respond to your demo request and schedule, prepare for and hold the demo.
- To follow up about NEXRIDE, including sending you information you asked for.
- To operate, secure and improve the Site, including preventing spam and abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and running the Site, on steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract, and — where required — on your consent.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Site and our business — such as our hosting provider, email provider, scheduling tool (Calendly) and analytics provider (Google Analytics) — who may use it only to provide their services to us; and when required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
How long we keep information
We keep demo requests and meeting details for as long as needed to respond to you and to follow up on a potential business relationship, and then delete them. Spam-protection data is kept for about an hour.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing the address below. Depending on where you live — for example California, the EEA or the UK — you may have additional rights, such as the right to know what we collect, to object to or restrict certain processing, to data portability and to complain to a data protection authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and spam protection on our forms. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
International transfers
The Site is operated from the United States. If you contact us from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate.
Children
The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed.
